Dear 7th Grade Parents, Can you believe that our children are now 7th graders at Marymount? Where does the time go? Take it from parents whose daughter graduated this last June; these last two years are going to fly by. Trust us, as graduation nears next year, you will realize that all you have come to know and love about Marymount will no longer be part of your child’s life. The finality of graduation day is very sad; watching your child board the trolley after the ceremony is over (a Marymount tradition) and drive out of the upper school for the last time is profound. We are so thankful to have two more years at Marymount, and we plan to appreciate every minute! The education our daughter received in her three short years at Marymount prepared her so well for the rigors of high school. We could not be more pleased to give to Marymount’s Annual Fund which will essentially come right back to us as Chandler benefits from the outstanding education he will receive. Marymount would not be the institution it is without the support of the Annual Fund, so please give what you can this year. We can say without hesitation that our daughter and her Marymount classmates are shining stars on high school campuses, from Cate to Laguna to Bishop and all of the public high schools. They are confident because they are so well prepared for all that these schools require of them. Does that not say it all? The point is that your investment in Marymount pays off in so many ways…it truly is money well spent! So please, insure that our students continue to receive the superior education that Marymount provides by giving to the Annual Fund. Sincerely, Jim and Nancy Swift P.S.
